Deputy Director, Marketing

Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Vice President of Marketing and Graphics, the Marketing Deputy Director is responsible for development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns aimed at increasing participation and brand awareness for the association’s conferences, courses, and other association programs. These include 12 conferences throughout the year, with 4-5 marketing programs running concurrently, as well as year-round programs for AHIP courses.

This position requires strong strategic thinking, outstanding project management skills and a great attention to detail. The person in this position must have a solid understanding of marketing best practices, and the drive to uncover new initiatives and ways of improving the association’s marketing efforts. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, is able to work well in a team environment, and excels working across disciplines under tight deadlines. 

The position is within the Marketing and Graphics team, a division of the Public Affairs department which is responsible for marketing and graphics, conferences and education, web and digital strategy, media relations, grassroots and strategic communications.

Director, Federal Programs 

Position Summary: At the direction of the Senior Vice President, Federal Programs, the Director, Federal Programs participates in AHIP's government relations effort and contributes to strategy development for federal regulatory activities.  Responsibilities include closely following and evaluating federal agency regulations, guidance, and action, assisting with advocacy on federal programs issues, and member support.  Principal areas of focus may include, but not be limited to, the Medicare Part D program and issues related to dual-eligible beneficiaries.

Position Summary: The Deputy Director is responsible for leading survey design and implementation and producing qualitative research plans, designing research questionnaires and research reports. This position uses a keen eye for detail to create research methodology, interpret survey research and qualitative data and author research reports.

Senior Director of Quantitative Research, Center for Policy and Research 

Position Summary: The Senior Director of Research coordinates multiple projects related to improving the quality and value of health care in the United States. Working under the general direction of Senior Vice President, Private Market Innovations and Director Center for Health Policy and Research, this individual will be responsible for conducting quantitative research on assigned projects. This position requires training and experience in quantitative health discipline such as biostatistics/epidemiology, health services research, health economics including strong quantitative methods and data analysis skills.  

The position analyzes health care data sets (primary and secondary data), independently develops study design, identifies and applies appropriate quantitative analytic methods, conducts and validates analyses, writes reports and issue briefs and contributes to manuscripts. This position collaborates with and works closely with Research Directors, Research Associates, staff, and interns. Interacts with external project sponsors and collaborators, including government agencies, academic centers, advocacy organizations, and health care organizations.

Senior Vice President, Clinical Affairs & Strategic Partnerships

Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the Executive Vice President, the Senior Vice President, is responsible for the overall management of the Clinical Affairs Department and serves as the principal Association staff person for issues related to clinical management, population health, and partnerships that complement the department’s activities. Vice President, Quality

Position Summary: Working under the general direction of Senior Vice President, Private Market Innovations, the Vice President, Quality is responsible for leading all efforts in the Clinical Affairs and Strategic Planning Department focused on performance measurement, health plan standards, impact of new payment and delivery reform models, as well as specific policy and regulatory issues pertaining to the Affordable Care Act.
