Deputy Director, Marketing

Under the supervision of the Vice President of Marketing and Graphics, the Marketing Deputy Director is responsible for development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns aimed at increasing participation and brand awareness for the association’s conferences, courses, and other association programs. These include 12 conferences throughout the year, with 4-5 marketing programs running concurrently, as well as year-round programs for AHIP courses.

Director, Federal Programs 

Position Summary: At the direction of the Senior Vice President, Federal Programs, the Director, Federal Programs participates in AHIP's government relations effort and contributes to strategy development for federal regulatory activities.  Responsibilities include closely following and evaluating federal agency regulations, guidance, and action, assisting with advocacy on federal programs issues, and member support.  Principal areas of focus may include, but not be limited to, the Medicare Part D program and issues related to dual-eligible beneficiaries.

Legislative Regulatory Analyst

Under the supervision of the Senior Vice President and Executive Director of the State Policy Department, the Legislative Regulatory Analyst provides policy analysis and legislative/regulatory support services in connection with AHIP’s state advocacy and state policy divisions and in support of operating divisions of AHIP and its member organizations. This analyst position reflects junior to mid-level experience, and can lead to a senior level role upon accomplishment of additional experience or expertise.

Project Associate, Insurance Education

Works closely with the various members of the Insurance Education department to develop business prospects as they pertain to online learning initiatives. Once prospects are identified, works in conjunction with technology vendors and communication providers to finalize sales and implementation of initiatives. Maintains relationships with companies that are currently using Insurance Education products to ensure a proper level of customer support and overall satisfaction. Supports sales initiatives through outreach, information distribution, and training of company contacts in use of AHIP systems.

Senior Director of Quantitative Research, Center for Policy and Research 

Position Summary: The Senior Director of Research coordinates multiple projects related to improving the quality and value of health care in the United States. Working under the general direction of Senior Vice President, Private Market Innovations and Director Center for Health Policy and Research, this individual will be responsible for conducting quantitative research on assigned projects. This position requires training and experience in quantitative health discipline such as biostatistics/epidemiology, health services research, health economics including strong quantitative methods and data analysis skills.  

The position analyzes health care data sets (primary and secondary data), independently develops study design, identifies and applies appropriate quantitative analytic methods, conducts and validates analyses, writes reports and issue briefs and contributes to manuscripts. This position collaborates with and works closely with Research Directors, Research Associates, staff, and interns. Interacts with external project sponsors and collaborators, including government agencies, academic centers, advocacy organizations, and health care organizations.

Senior Healthcare Analyst

Position Summary: Working under the direction of Senior Vice President, Private Market Innovations, the Senior Healthcare Analyst is responsible for working on efforts in the Clinical Affairs and Strategic Planning Department focused on performance measurement, health plan standards, as well as specific policy and regulatory issues pertaining to the Affordable Care Act with a special emphasis on quality.   This position requires strong analytical and oral and written communication skills; ability to work with diverse stakeholders and think strategically; demonstrated experience in working with stakeholders to achieve consensus is preferable.
