2012 National Policy Forum
Staying Ahead of the Health Care Agenda
In 2012, health care issues promise to remain front and center. From how implementation is proceeding to the debate about the individual mandate to building Exchanges in the states and the upcoming elections, the key legislative and regulatory issues affecting your organization will be discussed.
AHIP’s National Policy Forum is focused on the key health policy topics. From the decisions that will affect you immediately to those with long-lasting considerations, you’ll hear firsthand from political, business, and health care leaders what’s now, what’s next, and what you should focus on to help your organization move forward.
|Attend multiple conferences with one trip.|
In addition to the National Policy Forum, consider adding the following to your week.
AHIP’s Summit on Payment Reform and Delivery Transformation (March 5)
The Summit will continue to showcase innovative models that regional and national health plans have implemented to achieve the three-part aim. A variety of approaches such as accountable care organizations, patient-centered medical homes, and bundled payment will be showcased.
Exchange Conference (March 7-8)
This conference will focus on the practical challenges including the impact of health insurance market reforms, implementation of premium payments, submission of benefit and rate information to the Exchange, and the implications for the consumer experience using web portals to search for insurance options.
