Presented by DentaQuest

The Affordable Care Act’s dental mandate for children requires an additional 27 million children be covered by dental insurance in 2014. Many of these children are considered “high risk,” and have been without dental insurance coverage and oral care.

So what are the implications of this mandate for health plans? What are the components of dental benefits design both on the front and back end that health plans should be aware of?

The session will guide health plan executives on reevaluating whether and how they offer dental services, whether they should contract with a dental benefits administrator to comply with the mandate, how to determine whether a partner is “reform ready,” and how to identify and engage the right network at the right price.

The session will also address how to leverage prevention to improve outcomes.

By the end of the webinar, participants will have a thorough understanding of how the ACA’s dental mandate for children should fit into their overall health reform strategy.
