Brian covers emerging technology and its impact on business and IT for Enterprise Architecture Professionals. His research provides practical advice to architects and IT strategists seeking to leverage new information management tools and techniques while dealing with current-state challenges. In addition, Brian provides insights for enterprise architects in the insurance and defense industries, where he has extensive experience.

Brian has 15 years of experience in IT as an advisor, strategist, architect, and manager. As an analyst he is the lead for Forrester’s emerging technology playbook, co-lead on the Data Management playbook, and publishes our annual top technologies to watch report. He has helped numerous clients develop their technology watch lists, evolve their architecture practices, and develop strategic approaches to hot topics like big data, BI, and data management. Before joining Forrester, he worked in the financial services and defense industries, were he acted as principal architect for information management technology, overhauled enterprise architecture practices, processes, and governance, and advised executives on emerging technologies.


AjayAjay Bhargava, Director, Analytics & Big Data, TCS

Ajay Bhargava has more than 23 years of Industry, Research, and Teaching experience in the areas relating to Databases, Enterprise Data Management, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and Advanced Analytics. Over the years, he has provided business & technology oriented strategic thinking, advising, and customer-centric solutions for large multi-M$ initiatives for US and European customers.

Ajay heads up the Analytics & Big Data Center of Excellence for TCS for Insurance & Healthcare customers. He publishes articles, and is a speaker & panelist at various conferences on Enterprise Data Management, Business Intelligence, and Advanced Analytics. As an Adjunct Faculty, he has also taught at The University of Texas, Austin and College of Engineering Pune, India.

Ajay holds an M.S. in Computer Science and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington. He obtained his B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T.), Mumbai, 1984.

Richard J. Pro is a healthcare sector strategist and business analytics expert with 25 years of payer, provider, technology, and consulting experience. Mr. Pro’s core areas of expertise include Business Model Transformation Strategy, Disruptive Innovation, Strategy Enablement, Strategic Alliances and Partnerships, Predictive Clinical and Financial Business Analytics, and Organizational Development & Leadership Methodologies.

Richard leads the business consulting services arm of the $600 million TCS healthcare vertical. Core focus areas include Private HIX Enablement, Population Risk Management, Retail Consumer Engagement & Business Model Enablement, and ACO Enablement & Risk Management.

Mr. Pro previously served as Vice President - Healthcare Informatics, Director - Strategic Analysis & Research, and Director - Provider Reimbursement at Highmark, Inc.; Health Plans Principal at SAS Institute; and Director - Health Intelligence Consulting Practice at Cognizant Technology Solutions.

Richard earned an M.B.A. with Strategy Concentration from the Duke University Fuqua School of Business, an M.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, and a B.S. in Physics from the University of Pittsburgh and is a Fellow of the Academy for Healthcare


ScheibChristopher Scheib, Senior Healthcare Consultant, Tata Consultancy Services

Chris Scheib has over 15 years of analytics and IT experience. He recently joined TCS and serves as a leading expert on healthcare transformation through insightful uses of analytics. Prior to joining TCS, he spent several years at SAS as a senior healthcare industry strategist, was the principal of advanced analytics at Intelimedix, and also spent nine years leading the health economics modeling group at Highmark Blue Shield. Chris specializes in the implementation and automation of data mining techniques and predictive modeling capabilities across healthcare systems. Chris has worked with dozens of health plans and organizations across the country to address their pressing health care business pains using analytics and information technology.
