Where Professionals Learn the Industry

As health insurance education evolves, the AHIP Center for Insurance Education and Professional Development continues to change to meet the needs of busy professionals in the industry. America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) is a national association representing nearly 1,300 member companies providing health insurance coverage to more than 200 million Americans. Our member companies offer medical insurance, long-term care insurance, disability income insurance, dental insurance, supplemental insurance, stop-loss insurance and reinsurance to consumers, employers and public purchasers.

Educating Health Care Professionals for More than 50 Years
Since its founding in 1958, the Center continues to be a leading hub for professional education. Hundreds of thousands of active working professionals like you—health insurance plan employees, consultants, third-party administrators (TPAs), agents and brokers, benefits specialists, case managers, medical directors, government officials, and others—have come to the Center to improve job skills and performance.
