  Disability Healthcare Professional

The Center's DHP designation expands on the specialized course of study offered in the DIA program. It provides you with the knowledge you need on disability income insurance and its role in protecting individuals from the financial losses that often occur from serious physical injuries and other severe health afflictions. By completing this designation, you'll acquire a solid background in basic product concepts and terminology, contracts, underwriting, and sales and marketing. You'll also have a thorough orientation in operations management, including cost management, pricing, claims administration, policy issue and renewal, customer service, government regulation, and fraud.
