  Disability Income Associate

Insurance and health care professionals, as well as financial planners, pursue the Center’s DIA designation for increased awareness of the risks and costs associated with disability. By completing this designation, you’ll fully understand employer-sponsored disability programs ranging from sick leave benefits to long-term disability income plans, including their tax consequences and tax planning considerations. You will also learn how disability income insurance fits into retirement, estate, and long-term care planning.

The Center’s DIA designation is co-sponsored by America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), the International DI Society, and the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU).
