The Basics of Annuities and More
From the AHIP Center for Insurance Education and Professional Development, four new online courses will provide you superb knowledge of annuities, from taxation issues to funding LTC requirements. Complete all four courses and earn the Annuity Planning Professional (APP) designation.

Individual Medical Underwriting
With this publication, you’ll learn about the processes involved in underwriting health, disability income, and long-term care insurance in the individual market. You’ll also learn the key functions of individual medical underwriting as well as the skills necessary to be an effective underwriter. Important Information for Current Center Students and ECs
How to Login to the New System?
For current students and Education Correspondents (ECs), logging into the Center's new learning management system for the first time couldn't be easier. Simply enter your current Student ID into both the "username" and "password" fields. The system will automatically prompt you to change your "username" and "password" to ones of your own choosing. Once completed, you will then have complete access to your enrollment history... courses you've taken, designations you've earned, and more.
If you're a current student of EC and do not know your Student ID, contact support@AHIPInsuranceEducation.org or 800.509.4422, and the Center's staff will provide you with your ID.

Everyone has their own preferred learning style-online, by book, by virtual seminar, or in person in an interactive workshop format. To continue offering health insurance plans additional quick, convenient, and flexible ways to learn, the Center is pleased to announce that two of our core courses are now being offered in an online format:
