Promoting Culturally Sensitive Health Care
New online cross cultural training courses for physicians/clinicians, nurses, case managers and health care professionals
To help address the growing need to deliver effective cross-cultural health care, America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) has expanded a component of its Addressing Disparities in Health initiative. Quality Interactions®: A Patient-Based Approach to Cross-Cultural Care is AHIP's web-based portfolio of cross cultural courses developed by the Manhattan Cross Cultural Group.
Quality Interactions® is an evidence-based, case-based learning program, which focuses on common
clinical and non-clinical cross-cultural scenarios that build a framework of knowledge and skills for communicating with, and delivering quality care to diverse populations. The e-learning format makes it easy to complete and review course content whenever your schedule permits.

It hopes to stimulate interest in the area of cultural competency to better serve America's racial and ethnically diverse populations and improve overall quality of care.
*AHIP's vignette does not offer CME credits. It only serves as a preview to the clinical courses.
