Quality Interactions for Health Care Employees (Certificate of Completion)

The Quality Interactions non-accredited, web-based program for health care employees teaches a cross-cultural, individual-based strategy for communicating effectively with diverse populations. The program is appropriate for health plan representatives, health care administrators, customer service representatives, office managers, lab technicians – and essentially anyone who works in health care but not necessarily in a direct clinical setting.

This web-based, interactive program teaches many of the same concepts and skills as the original Quality Interactions program, but is geared toward all employees in health related organizations rather than clinical staff. The course is valid for credit until April 1, 2011.

Learning Objectives
After completing the health care employees program, you should be able to:

  • Respect and value cultural diversity
  • Communicate clearly in cross-cultural interactions
  • Understand and explore cultural differences
  • Effectively engage an individual in a cross-cultural interaction
