Terry Clark is Chief Marketing Officer – Enterprise Services for Ovations, a UnitedHealth Group Company. Ovations is nation’s largest company dedicated to the growing health needs of individuals over age 50. Mr. Clark is responsible responsibility for strategic marketing that supports all products and services; helping match individual consumers to plans and service that best meets their needs. These efforts include serving the unique needs of one out of every five people eligible for Medicare services and works with public programs like Medicare and Medicaid to provide quality health care services to seniors, low-income individuals and those with disabilities.
Mr. Clark joined UnitedHealth Group in 2006 from IAC, which includes leading brands being transformed by consumerism - Ticketmaster, Entertainment Publications, Home Shopping Network, Ask.com, Lending Tree and Match.com. In his last position with IAC, Mr. Clark was Executive Vice President of Entertainment Publications. Prior to this experience, he held leadership positions for Cendant Corporation, Monster Worldwide (formerly TMP Worldwide), Tyke Corporation, and the Stroh Brewing Company.
Carla Espinoza, LVN, CPHQ is an LVN by training and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality. She has worked in the health insurance and managed care industry for nearly 22 years. She has been involved in Quality Management for over 14 years and has experience with the development and implementation of QM programs, HEDIS data collection, analysis and reporting; NCQA accreditation preparation and project management. She currently is Healthcare QM Manager in Aetna’s National Quality Management and Measurement department, managing the HEDIS Clinical Improvement team in addition to leading a number of clinical improvement work groups and is responsible for the design and implementation of clinical improvement activities.
In addition to her work in Quality Management, Carla has been involved with Aetna’s health literacy movement since late 2005 when she co-founded Aetna’s Health Literacy Work Group. She was recognized in 2007 by The Institute for Healthcare Advancement (IHA) and received the Health Literacy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Health Literacy for Aetna’s Organization-Wide: Health Literacy Awareness Campaign.
