AHIP’s Federal Affairs staff represents AHIP’s member plans before policymakers and lawmakers in Washington on legislative issues impacting our industry. We work closely with AHIP’s members to advocate for the industry’s federal legislative and regulatory priorities on Capitol Hill, in addition to identifying and analyzing bills considered by Congress.
Federal Affairs staff covers congressional committee hearings on industry issues, submits testimony, and shares AHIP materials with committee staff to ensure that lawmakers are aware of our concerns and priorities on key issues discussed in the hearings.
