AHIP Commends Bipartisan Work On 21st Century Cures Act

WASHINGTON, D.C. – December 1, 2016 – Marilyn Tavenner, president and CEO of America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), issued the following statement following the House vote on the 21st Century Cures Act:

“We share the commitment of CURES to improving brain health, defeating cancer, and combatting opioid addiction. We commend Congress and the administration for the hard work that went into this important, bipartisan bill.  We look forward to working with policymakers on implementation of the law, especially changes to the Medicare Advantage program.”
