WASHINGTON, D.C. – America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) thanks the 363 members of the United States Senate and House of Representatives who signed bipartisan letters today, expressing their support for Medicare Advantage.
The letters underscore the value, quality, and choice Medicare Advantage provides to seniors and tax payers. The letter was sent to Administrator Seema Verma at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
“Thank you to Sen. Mike Crapo, Sen. Bill Nelson, Rep. Brett Guthrie, Rep. Paulsen, Rep. Blumenauer, and Rep. Cárdenas who led the two letters, and to all members of Congress who support such an important program,” said Marilyn Tavenner, President and CEO of AHIP. “Medicare Advantage continues to deliver for approximately 20 million Americans nationwide through innovation, coordinated care, and affordable plan choices.”
