CMS Administrator Seema Verma To Headline AHIP National Medicare Conference

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Oct. 16, Seema Verma, the administrator for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), will deliver a keynote address at the America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) 2018 National Conference on Medicare. This conference is part of AHIP’s annual conferences on Medicare, Medicaid, and Dual Eligibles which will be held from Oct. 14-18.

During her presentation, Administrator Verma will discuss improving Medicare coverage for seniors, the vital role of the private sector, and how public/private sector partnerships deliver value to patients, consumers, and taxpayers.

In addition to Administrator Verma, the three national conferences will feature a wide range of industry leaders and policymakers, including:

  • Adam Boehler, Director of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI)
  • Ralph Northam, Governor of Virginia
  • Mike Leavitt, Former Governor of Utah
