    The Administration’s Executive Order on diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) challenges us to identify strategies to advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, and eliminate, where applicable, barriers to equity in health benefits. This session will highlight the importance of health equity and accessibility through improved evidence-based formulary access which can encourage patients to seek high value care, often at lower costs.

    The Plan Performance Assessment team will provide data highlights from the 2021 Scoring Cycle and highlight future directions. In addition, OPM will address Carrier’s 2022 Listening Session suggestions.

    Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) Contracting

    Prescription drug coverage costs contribute significantly to the FEHB premium. This session will provide an overview of the loopholes that may exist in contracts with Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) and describe how to negotiate and finalize airtight contracts with PBMs.
