Registrants agree to comply with the CDC’s guidance regarding relevant COVID testing and appropriate responses in the event that they have or develop symptoms of COVID-19, test positive for COVID-19, or have been in recent close contact with a known case of COVID-19. Registrants agree not to attend the conference for five days after first testing positive for COVID-19 or if experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 that were confirmed by a positive test.

AHIP encourages you to be up to date with the recommended vaccinations, including recommended boosters when eligible to further strengthen your protection against COVID-19, consistent with CDC guidance.

If you experience symptoms of COVID-19 while attending the conference, please stop by the Registration and Information Desk (Pre-function C foyer) and request a COVID-19 self-test. AHIP has a limited supply of COVID-19 self-test kits available at the registration desk. If you test positive for COVID-19 while attending the conference, we ask that you promptly exit the conference.

To ensure a secure environment, we will be providing masks throughout the event space for those who would like to wear them. Additionally, hand sanitizer stations will be readily available in various locations within the event space.

Your health and wellbeing are of utmost importance to us. We sincerely appreciate your cooperation in promoting a safe and healthy environment.

First Aid

The OCC will have a fully equipped First Aid Room, one located in the Pre-Function A Lobby. EMTs may be contacted by any OCC staff member. Trained first-aid responders will assess and escalate medical attention from local first responders, as the situation dictates.

The OCC has a CVS vending machine just off the MLK lobby behind the welcome desk. This vending machine has items such as over the counter medicines and small personal needs items. For additional medical, health or emergency information, please download here.

Public Safety

Portland is a large city with vibrant neighborhoods for visitors to enjoy, the majority of which offer a safe and open environment. We recommend that visitors exercise the same caution, concern and common sense as when traveling to any new city. Please remember to remove your badge and travel in a group when walking around in the city.
