He is the CEO of Vitality USA, a division of Vitality Group working with US employers and Health Plans. Previously, Mr. Gilbert led Vitality’s innovation and marketing in the US, developed partnerships with life insurers John Hancock and Manulife, and helped to set up and grow Vitality’s international businesses in the UK and Asia.
Mr. Gilbert is a Fellow of the UK Institute of Actuaries and a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand, and has a Master’s degree from Oxford University.
Jenny Carrillo, PhD

Dr. Jenny Carrillo is inspired by innovative technologies that improve global health and works in healthcare technology to achieve health equity by removing barriers that contribute to health disparities. Dr. Carrillo recently joined Vitality Group whose mission is to “make people healthier.” As Senior Vice President of Health Solutions, she will lead Vitality’s U.S. expansion into partnerships with health plans, providers, and other ancillary health services.
Previously, Dr. Carrillo served as the Vice President of Health Plan Solutions at Amwell, which had a successful IPO. As a strategic partner, she helps healthcare executives execute their digital healthcare strategy, expand access to quality care, and leverage their assets to achieve measurable objectives and improved health outcomes.
Trained as a Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Carrillo has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, spanning from academia to executive roles in strategy, sales, marketing, external affairs, and cross-functional integration. She has contributed to publications and panels, speaking extensively about achieving health equity, and served on various boards. Her distinctions include an NIH National Research Service Award, Yale 100 Delegation to China, and Fellow of the Connecticut Health Foundation.
She received her Ph.D. from Yale University and was a consultant with McKinsey & Co.
