CompletEPA® E-Prior Authorization Lowers Cost and Improves Satisfaction

  • August 10, 2017
  • 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM ET
  • Online

While a necessary administrative tool, the current retrospective medication prior authorization (PA) process is known for its complexity, frustration, inefficiency and costliness. For payers, it can increase operational costs, burden clinical resources, and can negatively impact their relationship with providers and members.

  • Streamlines workflow by delivering real-time health plan responses integrated with the EHR
  • Reduces costs by decreasing the number of prior authorizations that require clinician review
  • Lowers provider frustration associated with manual faxes or phone calls through a fully electronic PA submission and response process
  • Improves member satisfaction by ensuring their prescription is approved before they leave the doctor’s office, helping them receive their medications timely

By participating attendees will learn :

  • Learn about the prospective electronic prior authorization (ePA) solution
  • Learn how this ePA solution can save health plans money by:
    • Allowing for real-time prior authorization responses
    • Saving time and labor cost on a per/PA basis
    • Increasing member medication adherence
    • Increasing overall member and provider satisfaction
  • Learn the benefits of a PA solution fully integrated with EHR and physicians workflows
  • Learn the positive impact CompletEPA has had on a health system
