Matt Cardoso is Sr. Director, Product Solutions, Health Plans. Matt has been with Quest Diagnostics Information Ventures franchise since 2016 and in this time, has made significant leadership contributions to both the Health Plan and Health Systems market development, portfolios, and programs. Prior to joining Quest, Matt held a variety of leadership positions in product management, product strategy and strategic sales for leading population health, EHR, HIE vendors, and health care delivery networks. Matt earned a B.S. in Biology and B.A. in Economics from UMass Amherst, as well as an M.B.A. and M.S. in Health Informatics from Northeastern University.

He is a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, B.Sc., M.Sc., Boston University School of Medicine, M.D.,, and New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business, M.B.A.. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Pathology (Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and Chemical Pathology). Dr. Kaufman also leads the Quest Diagnostics Health Trends™ team that provides novel public health insights based on Quest Diagnostics nearly 50 billion test result database.

Patrick James, M.D. is Chief Clinical Officer, Health Plans and Policy, at Quest Diagnostics. Dr. James earned his medical degree with honors from St. Louis University. He completed his internship and residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology with board certification at the National Naval Medical Center and post-graduate training in cytopathology with board certification at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. James has served in leadership positions at Quest Diagnostics and other leading healthcare organizations, as well as the U.S. Navy.
