Mitesh A. Desai, MD, MPH, MPH

Dr. Mitesh Desai is board certified in Internal Medicine specializing in Applied Epidemiology and Public Health. Dr. Desai’s medical interests include infectious diseases, vaccines, disease prevention, and HIV prevention and treatment.

After graduating Summa Cum Laude and receiving his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Desai earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins University and is fellowship trained in Applied Epidemiology and Public Health from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). While working with the CDC, Dr. Desai was assigned to the Division of Tuberculosis Elimination and Outbreak Investigations.


Marsha Hyslop, R.N., MBA

Marsha leads our Care Team and Clinical Operations at 2nd.MD. As a registered nurse with decades of experience, Marsha brings both a passion for helping people get the care they need and the business knowledge that comes with founding and running of two business. Under her leadership, Marsha’s team is responsible for understanding our members’ medical situation and guiding members throughout their entire journey with empathy and trust.

Prior to joining 2nd.MD, Marsha served as the president of Liaisons for Healthcare and the CEO of The Pain Care Center, Inc. Marsha has her bachelor’s degree in nursing from The University of Texas at Austin and her MBA from Tourneau University.
