Madhavi Vemireddy, Chief Medical Officer and Head of Product Management
Dr. Madhavi Vemireddy is the Chief Medical Officer and Head of Product Management at ActiveHealth Management and has more than 13 years of experience in health care technology systems. Her responsibilities include overseeing development of the CareEngine® System, a patented advanced clinical decision support and clinical analytics engine that integrates evidence-based literature with state-of-art technology to ensure high quality health care delivery. Dr. Vemireddy has spent the last several years developing clinical quality measurements that are aligned with clinical decision support to promote quality improvement.
As the CMO, Dr. Vemireddy leads a multidisciplinary team of physicians, pharmacists, nurses and product managers focused on building effective population health management programs and clinical analytic tools to promote evidence-based patient care. She participated in the National Quality Forum’s (NQF) clinically enriched ambulatory care project, which led to the endorsement of 26 ActiveHealth measurements, and also took part in the NQF Clinical Decision Support Technical Expert Panel. She is a current member of the Health Information Technology Advisory Committee (HITAC).
Prior to joining ActiveHealth Management in July 2000, Dr. Vemireddy completed her internal medicine training at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City (1997-2000). She received her medical training from Ramachandra Medical University in India and is board certified in Internal Medicine (2000, 2010).
