about

Evidence-based guidelines are critical to effective utilization management (UM), but static guidelines often can’t address nuances from comorbidities or variations across patient populations. Digital health solutions that leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) can extend the value of clinical intelligence, however, these technologies are underutilized today.

This webinar will examine how AI and ML can leverage prior authorization as a trigger to engage health insurance providers, physicians, and members in episode-based care paths that integrate traditional utilization management, care management, and member engagement functions. Our team will share how these innovative technologies can enable care management programs to learn, refine, and provide better care over time, ultimately resulting in higher value and less unnecessary spending.

Attendees will learn:

  • How ML and personalized analytics can help improve member and provider engagement in collaborative care plans.
  • How prior authorization can be used as a trigger for greater value from your care management plans.
  • How ML and rich historical data can enable care management programs to get smarter and more specific over time, with better outcomes and lower costs.
  • How to more thoughtfully analyze their organization’s AI-driven utilization management solution and understand how to pick the right solution.
