Mike Gordon
Chief Innovation Officer
Friday Health Plans

Mike Gordon is Chief Innovation Officer with Friday Health Plans, a rapidly growing carrier primarily focused on the ACA market. Mike is a healthcare technology industry veteran with over 30 years of B2B and B2C software experience including payer, provider, and consumer markets. He has deep expertise in software product management best practices, shepherding new technology solutions from concept to launch, using agile and traditional methodologies. Mike previously held senior product and strategy executive roles with public and private equity backed companies including Healthx, Aetna, TriZetto, and Diogenes. He is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University.


Shane Bray
Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Experience Officer
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana

Shane joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana in 2020 as the company’s first Chief Customer Experience Officer, having served in multiple roles with Willis Towers Watson for the previous 13 years, the most recent of which was as their Chief Experience Officer (2016–2020).

Upon graduating cum laude from Neumont University in Salt Lake City, he joined Extend Health as a Business Intelligence Engineer, a start-up that grew to eventually become the nation’s largest Medicare Exchange, serving millions of retirees and integrating more than 100 insurance carriers and thousands of individual plans onto a single platform. It was there he developed a passion for Customer Experience—leveraging his experience and expertise in both technology and healthcare to help customers make informed decisions about their healthcare and prescription drug needs.

He brings 25 years of blended healthcare and technology experience and has tremendous passion for preventative and proactive healthcare and wellness, as well as utilizing modern technologies to simplify members’ lives and advocate for personalized, and meaningful customer-centric engagements.


 

Sydney Edwards
Vice President of Regulatory
Kyruus

Sydney Edwards is Vice President of Regulatory at Kyruus, where she provides oversight and ownership for all regulatory matters and is responsible for developing, monitoring, and executing on overall corporate regulatory and compliance initiatives. Prior to Kyruus, she was Vice President of Healthcare Policy Research at Capstone, advising private equity firms on the impact of regulation on healthcare organizations within their portfolio and related transactions.

Previously, she served as an Attorney Advisor for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, investigating and auditing a comprehensive range of complex health care fraud, including Medicare, Medicaid, and other government and private payers. She was also Assistant Counsel for the U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms Office of the General Counsel, supporting regulatory compliance on Capitol grounds and all Senate buildings. She is a graduate of Texas Southern University School of Law and Hampton University.


Matt Parker
Senior Vice President of Product
HealthSparq

Matt Parker is Senior Vice President of Product for both HealthSparq and Kyruus, where he leads efforts to develop and continually improve industry-leading products. Matt has more than 20 years of experience working in healthcare technology products, where he brings a professional passion for streamlining implementations so that customers are up and running with new products more quickly.

Prior to joining HealthSparq and Kyruus, Matt was the VP of Products at Connecture, where he lead product management of its SaaS products, including Medicare, individual and family and group shopping, and enrollment products. Earlier in his career, he was the VP of Clinical Products at DestinationRX. Matt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Catholic University of America and his JD from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
