Food security is a critical SDOH issue. Medicare Advantage plans have several flexibilities for addressing SDOH through benefits and programs. CMS recently issued guidance to states and Medicaid Managed Care Plans on pathways for addressing SDOH needs.

This webinar will explore options and program components that MA and Managed Medicaid health plans may need in place for a successful SDOH approach today, and also consider what may be most helpful for health plans tomorrow as they continue to address the growing issue of food insecurity among plan members.

Catherine is a Registered Dietitian, a healthcare innovator, and a frequent speaker on the importance of nutrition to the aging population, care transitions and those managing chronic conditions. She earned her Masters of Science degree in Nutrition from the University of Minnesota and her BA from the University of Michigan.
