about

Engagement in preventive health care has historically been far below acceptable, with just 8% of adults participating in all preventive health activities. Through the pandemic, that rate dropped further, with more than 43% of the population missing their preventive health visits, including those for chronic conditions like diabetes, cancers, etc. There has been an explosion of interest in virtual or at-home solutions that create easier access, but does easier access alone result in more engagement and better outcomes?

The discussion throughout the webinar will provide context as to the “state of the state” in regards to preventive health engagement trends as well as new innovative trends/interventions in health care. However, experts will unpack the magnitude of impact that remote, virtual, or at-home solutions can have, the pitfalls of them, and how to manifest best practices into actual deployable strategies that improve population health.

Attendees will learn about:

  • Potential population health issues coming out of the pandemic due to a year of people not engaging in health care
  • Trends in digital health that should be considered to get populations re-engaged in preventive health
  • Potential pitfalls of virtual care
  • How to leverage best practice to deploy a strategy that drives more engagement, easier access to care, and better outcomes
