Many care models treat physical and behavioral health as siloed entities, which overlooks the many ways that the mind and body work together. Studies have shown patients with chronic disease have a higher risk of depression, and in turn, patients with depression are at higher risk for developing other medical conditions.

The need for integrated primary care and a growing consumer demand for remote medical and behavioral health care access gives health plans a unique opportunity to serve whole-person health. Access to high-quality, convenient care is now critically important for health insurance providers to increase member satisfaction and improve health outcomes.

Our speakers will examine the need for integrated medical and behavioral health care and how virtual primary care helps health insurance providers remain competitive while improving member satisfaction and health outcomes.

Attendees will learn about:

  • The true costs of forgoing for behavioral health treatment and its impact overall whole-person health
  • Insights on increased consumer demand for healthcare technology to communicate with providers for more convenient treatment and condition management
  • Resources for health insurance providers to actively support their members’ mental health and how to provide integrated, patient-centered care
  • How to assess the clinical efficacy of Behavioral Health treatment
