about

As the health care system shifts to value-based care, the goals of health insurance providers and care providers are more aligned than ever before: improve quality care and the patient/member experience, while reducing costs. Achieving these shared goals requires more and better collaboration between health insurance providers and care providers —and labs are uniquely positioned to support their efforts.

This webinar explores the ways in which labs can support health plan/provider collaboration for value-based care, specifically in the area of care and disease management. Some commercial labs, like Quest Diagnostics, offer population health solutions such as gaps in care programs that help address today’s costliest chronic diseases, like diabetes and chronic kidney disease.

Attendees will learn:

  • How health insurance providers are currently collaborating with care providers to advance value-based care
  • How labs can support this collaboration through screening and gaps in care programs
  • What lab-supported health plan/provider collaboration looks like in action, and how it can help improve outcomes
