When behavioral health providers are more accessible, health plans can have a healthier population–in both mind and body—decreasing the overall cost of care. This is especially relevant for your Medicaid and Medicare Advantage populations. Roughly 10 million Americans with a behavioral health diagnoses are enrolled in Medicaid, while 13 million Americans on Medicare experience some mental health issue.
During this webinar, Lindsay Henderson, PsyD, Director of Psychological Services at American Well, and Marie Renzi, Director of Marketing for Health Plan & Employer Engagement at American Well, will discuss how health plans can leverage telehealth to extend access to behavioral health specialists across different populations.
