Today 4 out of 5 working-age adults do not have a strong relationship with a primary care physician. When health care consumers are disconnected from longitudinal care relationships ER usage increases, chronic conditions and mental health needs go undiagnosed, and medication adherence decreases. However, the pandemic fundamentally changed consumers’ expectations, satisfaction, and demand for virtual care, opening the door for new approaches to overcome these challenges. With 93% of consumers saying they were satisfied with their virtual care experience, and 88% of Americans reporting they want to continue using telehealth services in a post-COVID world, essential readiness for the shift to virtual primary care is here.
During this webinar, Jill Dailey, Vice President, Head of Commercial Product at Aetna, a CVS Health Company, and Anoop Sangha, MD, Vice President, Clinical Product Specialization at Teladoc Health will be joined by moderator Rob Bressler, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Virtual Primary Care at Teladoc Health to discuss the shift to virtual primary care and why it’s important for health insurance providers to:
