Our Position
Health insurance providers measure virtually every element of health care to ensure that the care our customers receive is of the highest possible quality and value. Increasingly, health insurance providers are working with health care providers to deliver care based on meeting certain quality measures.
AHIP advocates for policies that encourage transparency of quality measures for consumers and employers and works for a system where high-quality health care is rewarded.
