Health care can be personal, local, lower in cost, and equitable in quality, according to Dr. Steve Klasko, president and CEO of Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health in Philadelphia. But change is painful for institutions, for physicians, and for government.
Klasko believes major societal trends are pushing for change. Our job is to embrace it.
