Position Summary:

This fast-paced position supports the marketing and database teams (within the larger Public Affairs Department) as they work to increase member engagement and non-dues revenue (conferences, sponsorships, courses) and support the overall brand of the Association.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Assists with database growth and maintenance efforts, including data input and cleanup.
  • Helps with data research, including researching partial records to support maintenance and growth efforts.
  • Manages the promotional email support box (manages inquiries / updates records with new info gleaned through box cleanup
  • Manages NCOA (national change of address) program results, including working with mail houses to run reports and record updates
  • Manages the posting of AHIP conferences to outside media calendar and researches additional outlets.
  • Manages budget/cost tracking support, including processing invoices and recording costs; and manages partner program revenue tracking (e.g. SmartBrief newsletters, Career Center)
  • Helps with coordination between Marketing and the legal department to execute contracts; includes working with media on contract changes.
  • Assists with media deliverables, including sending creative, tracking materials and results.
  • Schedules and manages partner newsletter articles with internal staff
  • Manages overall department media/promotional marketing tracking report. Identifying, analyzing and interpreting trends or patterns that will be helpful for ongoing and future marketing efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills:

  • Database experience, preferably iMIS
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple jobs
  • Strong computer skills
  • Comfortable with basic data analysis
  • Experience working with email deployment software
  • Team player

Experience:

  • 2-3 years database experience; marketing experience a plus

Education:

Bachelor Degree

  • Continuous sitting for prolonged periods more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour day.
  • Keyboard use of greater or equal to 50 % of the workday.
