Millions of Americans, especially those with complex, chronic health concerns, struggle to achieve their health goals – despite seeing doctors frequently and taking multiple medications. New research sheds light on this longstanding and perplexing health care challenge: The 2020 Chronic Care Action Index, commissioned by MOBE in partnership with YouGov, surveyed 2,000+ consumers and 200+ health care professionals across the U.S. to uncover their perceptions of care and wellness, and the factors that can move people on a path toward better health. Critical insights for health insurance providers include consumer wellness priorities, barriers to making lifestyle changes, trends in telehealth, and more.
