She is currently a Venture Partner at Define Ventures and the Founder and Executive Chair of FOLX Health – a telehealth platform that supports the LGBTQIA+ community. Prior to that, she was a Co-founder and Partner at Optum Ventures.

Before Joining Optum Ventures, she was a Co-founder & Chief Product Officer of Humedica and then served as Chief Product Officer of Optum Analytics after Optum acquired Humedica in 2013. Prior to Humedica, she was a Director at Leerink Swann, a leading health care investment bank. A.G. also co-founded the non-profit Institute for Health Metrics (IHM). A.G. served as Co-Chair of Governor Charlie Baker’s Digital Health Data Working Group and also as Chair of the Massachusetts Work Group on the Privacy of Medical Records. She began her career as an attorney as was the founding Director of the Health Law Institute which focused on the health needs of LGBTQIA+ youth working the streets of Boston. She received her MPH from Harvard University, her JD from the University of Connecticut, and her bachelor’s degree from Yale University.
