Cinyon Reed currently serves as a Program Analyst for the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Health and Insurance (HI), Federal Employee Insurance Office (FEIO). Mrs. Reed assists Federal Benefits Officers and Federal Employee Health Benefits (FEHB) enrollees, interpret, and enforce the FEHB program rules and regulations. She also, pprovides oversight and program management on FEHB Contract and FEHB Brochures revisions as well as serves as a liaison for FEHB Open Season
Prior to joining OPM Mrs. Reed served as a Grant Program Officer with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC). She managed the Regional Extension Center and the Health IT Workforce Training grants in which she oversaw the development and implementation of trainings programs and services being provided to hospitals, physicians and administrative staff in the medical careers to help them implement Electronic Health Records (EHR).
