Dr. Edgerton is a practicing rheumatologist and the Executive Chairman of the American Rheumatology Network, a physician owned and led organization committed to improving healthcare by empowering independent rheumatology practices across the nation. He is also a founding member of Articularis Healthcare, the largest Rheumatology practice in the United States, spanning 8 states and growing. He is a respected leader in value-based medicine having chaired the American College of Rheumatology Committee on Rheumatologic Care. He is a voting member of the American Medical Association House of Delegates where he serves as a member of the Specialty Society governing council. He is nationally recognized for his work on treatment pathways and Alternative Payment Models having testified to Congress and advised numerous stakeholders on the topic.
