Cynthia Horner, MD

Dr. Cynthia Horner is Medical Director of Amwell Medical Group and a Board-certified Family Physician with more than 25 years of experience in population health and clinical care delivery. Since joining Amwell in 2016, Dr. Horner has focused on leveraging the power of telehealth to improve patient engagement and health outcomes through evidence-based clinical program design, quality assurance management, and physician training and certification on telehealth best practices.
In addition to her supervisory and administrative duties as Medical Director Dr. Horner has completed over 22,000 telehealth visits and co-wrote the course content for the primary care section of the American Board of Telehealth certification training.
