Dan Henderson, MD, MPH

Chief Medical Officer, instED

Dan Henderson is Chief Medical Officer of instED, a Boston-based mobile urgent care provider. He is responsible for the oversight of medical service delivery, quality of care, and the instED Virtual Medical Control team. A physician by training, Dan brings a decade of frontline experience working in top-rated US hospitals, as well as over a decade of experience leading quality improvement.

Prior to instED, Dan practiced primary care and hospital medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital, directed the Clinical Process Improvement Leadership Program, and led several initiatives around remote patient monitoring, digital health, and readmission prevention.

Dan earned his medical degree from the University of Connecticut and Master of Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health. He completed residency training at Columbia University/New York-Presbyterian and was a Clinical Innovation Fellow in the Division of General Internal Medicine at MGH.
