Dana Udall, PhD
Vice President of Behavioral Health, Included Health
Dr. Dana Udall is currently Vice President of Behavioral Health at Included Health and a licensed psychologist with more than 25 years of experience in the field. She holds a PhD from the University of Southern California and received Predoctoral and Postdoctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Udall has worked in a variety of settings, including universities, inpatient, residential, and intensive outpatient programs, as well as private practice.
Most recently she was Chief Clinical Officer at Headspace, where she oversaw Coaching, Therapy, Psychiatry, QA & Training, and Care Enablement. During her tenure she grew the team 20x, met quality and retention targets every quarter, and helped to close some of the company's largest accounts. Training the next generation of providers is a deep passion of Dr. Udall, and while at Headspace, she established Practicum, Post-Doctoral, and NBHWC-accredited programs.
Prior to Headspace, Dr. Udall was Lead, Clinical Specialty Services at the University of Colorado, where she oversaw the Alcohol and Other Drug, Behavioral Health, Assessment, Transgender Care, and Eating Disorder Services programs. Her specialty areas include stress management, perfectionism, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, identity development and body image in LGBTQ youth, and adolescent/young adult development. She has frequently been asked to share her expertise with news outlets including the LA Times, USA Today, Fast Company, Self Magazine, InStyle, Authority Magazine, Time and This Week in Health IT.
