Evan Weiss is a senior health care product and services delivery executive with over a decade of experience in value-based care. As Vice President and General Manager of Provider Enablement at Optum, Evan leads a business helping payer organizations engage with and enable independent primary care practices in the move to value.
Prior to Optum, Evan lead operations for health system partnerships at Lumeris, with responsibility for value-based contracting, provider incentive design, population health services, and technology and analytics delivery. Before entering the health care industry, Evan had a career in Middle East Affairs, working for non-governmental organizations, multi-nationals and defense contractors.
Evan has a JD/MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, a master's degree from the London School of Economics, and a bachelor's degree from Brown University.
