Fred Butler Jr.

Before joining the private sector, Fred spent 23 years working within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) managing public health and generating results in quality improvement programs. This included work with clinical practices to prepare for the transition from fee-for-service to value based care; with more than 3700 hospitals generating unprecedented results in the reduction of hospital acquired conditions and the reduction of unnecessary hospital readmissions; and leading quality improvement collaboratives with Community Health Centers, private clinical practices, and Organ Procurement Organizations. Mr. Butler is a recipient of the Hubert H. Humphrey Award for Service to America and the Secretary’s Distinguished Service Award for Execution of Major Projects. He received his Master of Public Health and Master of Business Administration degrees from The George Washington University.
