Heidi Kriz, MPH, RD

For over 15 years, Heidi has led and managed work in the field of evidence informed health policy with twelve state Medicaid programs at Oregon Health and Science University and more recently with Regence health plans. At Regence, Heidi has played a key leadership role in prior authorization transformation. She serves as the Chair and business lead for the Prior Authorization Transformation Program which encompasses technology and data automation to promote timely, evidence base care for its members. Heidi has led the development and sustainment of several initiatives for electronic and auto authorization workflows, EHR interoperability, automation using artificial intelligence, and selective applications of prior authorization.
Heidi is a participant in the Da Vinci project and has presented extensively on prior authorization transformation. More recently, Heidi was recognized with the 2021 Da Vinci Community Champion award for her extensive work on implementing the interoperable burden reduction use case.
Heidi completed her Master of Public Health at Barry University in Miami, Florida with a focus in epidemiology and healthcare administration and is a Registered Dietitian.
