He served as Chairman, CEO, and COO of The Advisory Board and Chairman of the Corporate Executive Board. Zients is a co-founder of The Urban Alliance Foundation, a non-profit organization that partners with corporations to provide economically disadvantaged youth with job training. He was chair of the Board of Directors of Children’s National Medical Center and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
