Jim McDonnell is Senior Vice President of Growth for Olive’s Payer Team. A mechanical engineer from Marquette University, he has spent his career in healthcare innovation, leveraging technology to improve health and the healthcare system. Prior to joining Olive, Mr. McDonnell led the IBM Watson Health Prior Authorization business, ran a successful consulting company, and led Business Development, Legal and Regulatory for a non-pharma innovation subsidiary of Pfizer. When not at work, he and his wife of 28 years split their time between Minneapolis/St. Paul and Naples Florida. They have three children, two in healthcare strategy consulting at a global consulting firm, and a junior in Neuro Biology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
