Joel Haugen

As Chief Product Officer, Mr. Joel Haugen is responsible for the strategy, design and execution of Crossover’s care model. This is inclusive of member engagement, care delivery, payment and outcomes. Haugen, in his current role, is focused on scaling Crossover’s existing capabilities and driving new investments that unlock additional capabilities to support Crossover members.

Mr. Haugen joins Crossover as a respected leader in product strategy after an impressive 15-year tenure at Optum, UnitedHealth Group’s diversified health services organization. In his most recent position as Head of Product, Provider Markets, he led a team of 50+ individuals to deliver high value integrated solution sets for large, clinically integrated health provider network clients. Prior to Optum, he was a senior consultant at Accenture, where he focused on supply chain management solutions and large scale client implementations.

Mr. Haugen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Management Information Systems and Communications from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.
