John Hoffman

John Hoffman is responsible for working across the organization to support and drive the strategy, commercialization and growth of emerging solutions and businesses across Optum’s payer market. In his 15 years of healthcare experience he has held general management, operations and growth roles across the payer and provider markets. Prior to his current position, he led one of Optum’s payer software and managed services businesses, and prior to that, held various operational leadership roles leading service delivery functions working with both Optum’s health plan and provider customers. Earlier in his career, he was the director of Operational Excellence at EmblemHealth, a New York health plan, and he started his career working on the provider side of the industry at a small consulting firm.
