Katie is faculty at Georgetown University Law Center where she teaches courses on the Affordable Care Act and LGBT health law and policy. She also maintains an appointment at Georgetown University’s Center on Health Insurance Reforms and provides “Following the ACA” rapid response analysis for the Health Affairs Blog.

Katie serves as an appointed consumer representative to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners where she represents the interests of consumers before state insurance regulators in all 50 states and provides health policy consulting services to nonprofit and foundation clients.
