Kristine Grow

In this capacity, Kristine was responsible for bolstering Aetna’s public image through owned and earned channels and enhancing executive visibility. She also led the implementation of Aetna’s corporate communications strategy and media outreach throughout the widely publicized attempted merger between Aetna and Humana –two leading nationwide health insurance companies. Previously, she served in communications positions for global corporations including Aramark and Unisys.

Kristine has extensive experience in defining and defending corporate reputations. Throughout her career, she has led an array of communications initiatives involving media relations, client and consumer communications, internal communications, speaking engagements, crisis communications, executive visibility, community relations, public affairs and digital media.

As Senior Vice President of Communications for AHIP, Kristine serves as the national spokesperson representing the collective interests of health insurance providers nationwide, including accelerating positive change and innovation across the health care system. Kristine has been featured in top tier national outlets and beltway publications such as Wall Street Journal, New York Times, POLITICO, The Hill, Washington Post, Bloomberg, Associated Press, Fox News, and NPR.
