Senior Program Analyst, Healthcare and Insurance (HI), U.S. Office of Personnel Management
Michele Johnson serves as a Senior Program Analyst in the Performance Improvement Group within the Federal Employee Insurance Operations (FEIO) of the Healthcare and Insurance Division (HI). Michele manages the Measures Workgroup comprised of HI subject matter experts and FEIO leaders, which is responsible for overseeing the selection and maintenance of the measures utilized within the Plan Performance Assessment (PPA). Other responsibilities include oversight of accreditation requirements, management and design of the PPA Best Practices Workgroup presentations, development of the annual PPA highlights report and outreach to industry stakeholders.
Before joining OPM, Michele has been involved with numerous quality measurement and value-based purchasing initiatives through her work at the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Medical Group Management Association and the American Health Quality Association. Her most recent position was Director of Government Relations and Policy for URAC. Michele has a Master’s of Science from American University.
